Hey Reader, This week has been packed – and for the first time in a while, it feels like things are lining up. 🎶 Music UpdatesI’ve been narrowing down my dream labels to a smaller, focused list – just 5 that really match my sound. They all play a similar, summerish, Ibiza-style Tech House, groovy and percussion-heavy. That means every new track I produce can work for multiple labels at once, giving me more chances to get signed. To help me get there, I bought a sample pack from one of those labels. Normally, I don’t buy packs because I think most sounds already exist somewhere. But this one feels different – it gives me a clearer picture of what makes their sound unique. I even sliced individual drum hits from loops, added them to my own favorite sounds, and started building personal loops from scratch. Combined with a few new reference tracks (all from those labels), I’m confident my next productions will hit much closer to their style. And this week brought another highlight: a 3-track EP signed to a respected Spanish label. Some of these tracks were finished months ago and had been waiting for the right fit, a good reminder that patience and consistent submissions really pay off. 🎧 Free Edit ReleaseI also dropped a new free edit last week. If you missed it, you can grab it here. It’s always fun to share something fresh with others and see how it moves on the dancefloor. 🎙️ Podcast GuestThis week, I had the chance to meet someone I’ve known online for a while. He’s been in the music business for over 20 years, runs his own podcast and label, and is an experienced producer and DJ. We recorded an episode together and had a great conversation about the scene and music production. For my German readers – the episode will be in German. I’ll share the link in next week’s email once it’s live. 🛠️ Product WorkOn top of that, I’ve been working on my new product, the Track Finisher Blueprint. I wrapped up the first module, which is all about setting a clear focus and building a routine that actually sticks. This one’s close to my heart because it’s the exact system I use to finish tracks while working a full-time job, and now, finally, releasing music consistently. ✅ This Week’s Takeaway for You

Hey Reader, Most of us live the same reality: A 9–5 job, sports, friends, family, daily stuff — and if you’re lucky, an hour here and there for music. In my case, add content creation, writing this newsletter… and a girlfriend who doesn’t enjoy music production at all. (Which means I also need to keep her entertained instead of locking myself in the studio 😉). With so much going on, it’s no wonder producers end up with the same story: Projects pile up.Loops never grow into tracks. And most...

Hey Reader, Last week, I asked ChatGPT a question I’d seen from YouTuber Dan Martell: “Tell me something incredibly special or unique you’ve noticed about me, but you think I haven’t realized about myself yet. It doesn’t have to be something positive and you don’t have to be nice to me – just truthful.” This only works if the AI already knows you well – if you’ve been using it for a while and it’s seen how you think, work, and make decisions. I was feeling slightly stuck. My product work had...
